In this project I was working for more than 18 month on the most important online marketing tool of every automotive company: the interactive car configurator. The complexity results from the internationality of the BMW Group, which is active in more than 50 countries worldwide. Legal requirements may differ from country to country, as data systems or market-specific special features in the product portfolio with approx. 30 different base vehicle platforms with up to 180 different optional extras.
In addition, we naturally wanted to create a fluid, high-performance, easy-to-use and excitingly new interface for the user.
