For the Mechanical Hourglass Machine the digital symbol was transformed back into the analog world. The Machine was exhibited at the Push Conference 2016. There, the rhythm of the movement was randomly controlled: this led many viewers to think that the Machine reacted to them. So they started to bounce and move in front of the installation. An interesting social phenomenon that shows how much people try to interpret intelligence into everything.
