The briefing for this project was to create an accompanying game to an exhibition about taste in the broadest sense, i.e. music, food, clothing, furniture, etc.
In the ideation it quickly became clear that we want to make it possible for the player to represent himself as an avatar. In a virtual home the user can furnish himself according to his taste, put on different clothes and out himself as a fan of certain music. As a game mechanic, we originally wanted players to have to "work" to get new clothes or furniture. In on-site tests in Heilbronn with museum visitors, it quickly became clear that this capitalistic approach to the audience didn't really fit the experimenta museum.
In the final version of the game, you have to play Match 3 with different foods or complete taste challenges to move on.
